Stardate:2406.10.02 (USS Nimitz - Observation Lounge - CMO - Lt. (jg) BigWill Kinkaid - 0759) The message send by the FO, Commander Kestra Troi, yesterday at 1745 hrs was the chance Kinkaid needed. Kinkaid wanted to make a difference by selecting himself for the away mission to acquire the Trawler with the ant-matter fuel. He knew that the ship and crew would be placed harms way to achieve its goal for the survival of the fleet. It was his duty to place his life on the line before the others on the Nimitz. The study of anti-matter and its unstable properties on the human body in a hostile environment was a subject not to be taken lightly. Kinkaid knew this and was prepare to deal with it. Knowing if the containment fields for the anti-matter fuel storage units were to collapse under any type of stress, it would be only a matter of time the effects would ravage the crew into a horrific sight never before seen by humanoid eyes. Kinkaid was not about to let that happen. Thinking about the mission and Nurse Janet Sanders, his beloved friend and colleague, the notion of the unthinkable plague Kinkaid's mind as he entered the observation lounge. Kinkaid could see that Lt. Saleke and Commander Troi were already at the conference table and awaiting the arrival of the rest of the department heads. He proceeded to a seat close to the commander. Kinkaid presented Kestra with a PADD that contained his recommendations for the away team if they were to be exposed to the radiation from the anti-matter fuel and his selection of a crewman from his department to be part of the team, which had only one name, Lt. BigWill Kinkaid. His name. The FO looked at the PADD then at Kinkaid. (Reply FO, Kestra Troi, anyone) (Posted by Nathan M. She was standing, a little rigid, definitely looking uncomfortable in her pregnant condition. He seemed to have that effect on people. He supposed it was something inhis biochemical make-up that sent out that urge to salute or stand at attention. ~Damn gentics.~ He smiled at her, "Dr. please have a seat and make yourself comfortable." Michaella took his suggestion, which was phrased as an order. "Captain, I think, if you know anything about pregnant women, that nothing at this stage could be considered comfortable." And she chuckled. "I don't think you've asked me to stay behind to inquire after my condition, Captain. What is on your mind ?" Sash smiled sadly back at her, "I have indeed had some experience with pregnant women. I guess I should say, make yourself as comfortable as possible. And you're right, and wrong at the same time. I didn't ask you to stay to see how you wer doing, but it is because of it. We are headed into some dangerous teritotry soon, and I can't help but worry about your present condition. Being a ships doctor in a time of war is stressful enough. To add the rigors that pregnancy does to your body on top of that, well, you might see where I might be concerned." Michaella nodded. "Well, Captain, I can understand your concern, but I will do my job to the best of my ability. And a pregnant doctor has to be better than no doctor." She said, trying to make a joke of it. "I can assure you that my hormones are balanced and that there have been no more outbursts like the one on Geneva, Captain. That was caused by a variety of things, one of which was my pregnancy, which I didn't know about. The other was Wilson, but..." And she sighed. "Personal lives should remain personal." "I agree whole heartedly Doctor," Sash replied. "Very well then, keeping personal lives out of this, you picked a great time to join my little corner of the universe. I think there would be no better time to have another doctor on hand than in a war situation." He picked up the PADD she had dropped by him during the staff meeting. "It says here that you were the counselor on Geneva. What drove you back to medicine?" Michaella sighed. "I never wanted to be a Counsellor, Captain." She said, beginning this tale. "I was a civilian doctor on a starbase for most of my life. I... got involved with someone running a slavery ring, and that brought in SFI, and, well, I was evacuated with my children to Geneva to be under the protection of Starfleet. When I got there, I found John Wilson, the father of my children, who happened to be the First Officer. He was involved with the CMO. She didn't take kindly to a civilian Doctor being given rank equal to her own and who stole away her boyfriend. At the same time, Geneva's Counsellor cut out on the station, and an...Ensign....was assigned, who obviously slept through his counselling training classes at the Academy. Instead of allowing that incompetent fool to continue making a mess of the station, I requested to be the Counsellor, and did a very good job of it." Michaella leaned back, trying to shift her weight off of her pelvic bone. This had to be a boy. The twins were never this painful. "Well, the Captain had...left..." She said, trying very hard not to use the word abandoned, "And Wilson was left in charge. Some kind of temporal anomaly happened, both the Captain and the Counsellor who had disappeared were back, and I was out of a job. Instead of coming to tell me that I was, the Captain decided to inform everyone in the middle of a briefing, and then had the audacity to bump me back to acmo and put that bumbling fool back into acouns. I took exception to it, and well, the rest is history." She sighed looking away, remembering that very difficult time. "SFI had come to take Wilson away, the bastard had left me pregnant, again, and hadn't contacted me until today, despite the fact that I kept trying to get in contact with him." And her face softened and she began to cry. "And he doesn't want anything to do with me." She sniffled, losing her professionalism. Sash sighed a little. ~So much about staying out of the personal lives.~ He felt for the yong woman. He had no idea of the situation between her and Wilson and he really wasn't sure if he should. He crouched down so that he was level with her and put his hands over hers, patting them gently, and consolingly. He lifted her chin and smiled, genuinely into her face. "Dr..., Michaella, I appreciate your brutal honesty. Rest assured that I will not "leave". I consider my crew as my family. When they hurt, I hurt aswell. I'm sorry about your past experience on Geneva. Your skills as a counselor will help you out greatly as a ships doctor. Quite often they have to use counseling skills aswell." He wiped away a tear with a thumb. "And if you ever need to just talk, although I've never been accused of being the most tactful person, I will have an open ear, and a broad shoulder." Michaella was somewhat shocked by the open air and caring that she got from this Captain. He was kind, and that was something that Michaella missed, a lot. "I warn you that I am a poor friend, Captain." She said, looking down at her hands. Sash looked at her thoughtfully. "Dr., in my opinion that phrase is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a poor friend. You are either a friend or not a friend. Perhaps I'm a bit of an optimist, but friendship shows up in a person's actions of caring, not just in their words. We will see what kind of a friend you are soon enough." Michaella nodded. "Do you have a given name, Captain ?" She asked. "Or is that inappropriate of me to ask ? I still haven't exactly figured out this whole starfleet protocol thing." Sash laughed, "There is no protocal on such a thing Dr. . Most of my friends just call me Sash. To my mother and a few close friends, my given name is Devan. Feel free to call me that if you'd like." "Very well, then, Devan. I would like to become close friends with you." And her smile warmed for a second. "It is the one thing I miss the most about being a civilian, having close friends." "I don't know," Sash said, "I've found some close friends in Starfleet, perhaps closer than I had before. But I would like to have the opportunity for you to be one aswell." There was a moment of awkward silence before he continued. "Well, Michaella, I shouldn't keep you from your duties any longer. you have a big job ahead of you. I'll be down to sickbay over the next day or so to see how things are going." Michaella realized a dismissal when she heard one and elegantly offered him her slender long hand as an aid to help her rise from the chair. She arched one eyebrow at him. Sash smiled as he took the hand and braced himself to allow Kirian to pull herself up. For a moment he was transported back to another place, a long time ago, helping his own wife up in the same condition. In an instant his mind ran through the memories of his wife's pregnancy and the birth of their child. An instant later the sight of his family masacred took away the pleasantness of the previous memory. He managed to keep the smile on his face, though the joy was gone from his eyes. "Good day doctor. I look forward to talking with you again." He watched as Kirian waddled out of the conferance room. Suddenly he remembered an old Angosian saying. "Doctor," Kirian turned and looked at him, "if the child is anything like its mother it will be a strong one." (jg) BigWill Kinkaid & Nurse Janet Sanders- 1547) The staff meeting did not go as it should have. Kinkaid was not in the best of moods. His action really spoke out louder than his words. Since his promotion to Lt. (jg), Kinkaid's mind set was starting to change. It was causing his mind set to conflict with reality that was affecting his decision making process. It was time for Kinkaid to slow down and get back to a good footing and take care of his Sickbay and its staff. The scene in sickbay was a normal daily routine. Nurse Sanders had just completed a medical scan of Crewman James when Kinkaid entered sickbay. "Good afternoon, Lt. Kinkaid." Janet said noticing that her boss was not in a chipper mood. Kinkaid glanced at Janet and just grumble. Janet felt a little heart broken by her boss's gesture. As Kinkaid entered his office, he threw his PADD across his desk. "Damn, with all the nerve!!" The frustration was building in Kinkaid. "The causalities from this fragile mission are going to be high if we don't act fast to curve it!" Kinkaid said in loud and harsh voice. Janet immediately ran into her boss's office and closed the door behind her. Janet could not make heads or tails of what the commotion was about. Janet went to the replicator and called up, "Tea. Hot with honey." The tea materialized. She knew BigWill was heated about something, but thought a nice cup of hot tea with honey would smooth things over. "Here drink this, BigWill, doctor's orders." Janet said as she handed the tea to her boss. "What is going on here and what mission that has you redder than the surface of Mars?" Janet said taking control of the situation. Kinkaid took a moment to catch his breath and sip the tea before speaking. "Well...Janet. Thank you for the tea. It really hit the spot." "I'm glad to help. So, what's going on?" Janet inquired. Kinkaid finished swallowing the last bit of tea when he spoke. "Janet, what I'm about to say is still not open for public viewing." He said to Janet in confidence. "We are about to embark on a mission for anti-matter fuel for the survival of the fleet. In less than six days we will be coming into contact with trawler carry this anti-matter fuel, but it will be under a heavy escort of the USS Alamo and other small escort vessels. If the plan goes according, we will be intercepting this trawler before the Alamo gets wind of our intention. If it doesn't, the sickbay will be causality ridden from the floor up." Kinkaid stopped realizing he may have spoken too much on the subject. Janet's mouth opened in amazement. She had no idea what was to come in the next few days and the importance of it to the ship. Janet asked, "Is there something you need of me in the meantime?" Kinkaid looked at his PADD and scanned the current status of the medical teams. "Janet, I need you to ready the medical teams for a mass causality response and also the department has a new ACMO, Dr. Michaella Kirien, who just transferred from Starbase Geneva. A top notch physician according to her profile. So, I want you to assist the good doctor by showing her the ropes around here in sickbay and extend to Dr. Kirien the same courtesies you have given me." Janet understood her instruction and exited her boss's office to begin preparation. Kinkaid, in the meanwhile, closed his door and buried himself with reports and more reports. However we do have a number of runabouts that if properly configured we might be able to rig with holo tech to appear larger than they actually are. SFI has certain files that allow for a more convincing illusion, plus if phase two works they will think they are facing bigger opponents," John smiled. The idea of making a making an opponent thing you're stronger than you are appealed to Tagon, although he'd never had to worry about that situation personally. "An excellent idea. But what is phase two?" "Phase two my good fellow is secret. Never show your full deck of cards in the first round," Wilson replied. Taogn was not used to being left out in the dark, but he was begining to get used to the idea that in SFI, if you wanted to know something you had to find out for yourself. As the sound died off it kicked in once more twice as loud. John stood from his seat and placed the small phaser in the back of his uniform. After all he was not expecting a visitor, pressing the door control it flew open. Looking ahead there was no one as he went to move into the corridor a small voice caught his attention. Beth looked at her Dad, with a big "ohm" and Ella launched herself at his knees. John tapped Ella on her head and then smiled. "How are you?" "You hate us." Came the muffled sobs from his leg. Beth joined in on the tears too, letting them out finally. "How dear ladies," John stated. Beth looked up at her Dad. "Why didn't you come back when we needed you? Why didn't you answer the letters? How come you didn't come see us?" Ella chimed in. "Why do you hate us so much? You won't even hug us." And then the tears started again. "I left because I was ordered to and I did not have a choice, it was nothing to do with you or any one else I had no choice," John stated hugging the girls between his arms. "Mum doesn't believe that." Ella began. "She said she called you when she had problems on the station and you didn't come. They took us away from her and called you and you still didn't come." Ella was now crying harder. Beth was just sobbing "I wasn’t contactable, ive been on the Nimitz the whole time and we were on a mission I couldn’t just leave unfortunately," John stated wiping the tears from his daughters eyes. "They were going to give us to a foster home." Ella said, more and more upset. Beth's eyes were wide, scared, that he was telling the truth. "Mum thinks you hate her and the baby she's carrying." Beth said, sniffling. "Baby!" John stated he had no idea, with all that had been going on he had not really kept in touch with Mish and now it was appearing it might be a problem. Beth nodded. "Mum says it's a boy" "A boy, well that’s great!" John smiled and hugged the girls more. "You looking forward to having a brother girls?" "We want to be with you again." Ella said while Beth nodded, in answer to the question and to Ella's statement. "We want to be a family." "We will be dear and even a bigger family with the a new brother," Ella's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "You should go talk to Mum." Beth, however still couldn't get over the fact that her beloved father did not hate them. "Will you take us flying again? Please? You promised to teach me to pilot!" "I will dear and now we are all on a ship so it will be even better for us all. Where is your mum?" Beth and Ella looked at each other, wondering that themselves. "We don't know, she disappeared when we came aboard, saying something about a meeting. Were you at the meeting?" Beth asked. "Yes but I had to go straight away so I didn’t get to speak to her. How about this, you two go meet your new teacher and ill go speak to mum?" "Do you know who she is?" Ella asked, curious. "When can we move in with you?" Beth demanded. "I will speak to mum and we will sort it out and your teacher is Miss Erm, I can’t remember," John stated smiling. Beth frowned. "You don't want us to live with you?" "I do but your Dad's job has change and im a lower rank now. I don’t do the same job any more and this new job is more dangerous so I don’t want to put your mum in a situation where she might become worried about me allot," Ella then proceeded to frown. Beth, the emotional one, hit her father in the leg. "I DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR JOB I WANT MY DAD BACK!" She shouted at the top of her lungs "My job is very dangerous I could be put in danger and if I was they might use you to get to me and I don’t want that! For now I will speak to your mum," Ella then proceeded to wail and mirror her sister's temper tantrum John leant down and scowled at them. "Crying and whaling never solved anything Ladies. Now do stop that! I will speak to your mum and you two calm down. Understand?" John stated letting his line sound very firm. The two just cried louder. They were scared their Dad would disappear again. "Im not going any where however for now go to school and ill go speak to mum ok?" "Schools over." Ella sniffled, wiping her nose with her hand. "I don't want to leave you." Beth continued to wail. "Ok how about this you two come with me and we will all go to talk to mum?" Ella and Beth nodded, each holding firmly onto a leg. Her mind reeled and she realized that she was incredibly confused. She wasn't sure what she would say to Wilson when she saw him, if anything. She wasn't sure that she wanted to see him. As she walked along the corridors, she thought about the things that she had heard and saw in the observation lounge. Obviously Wilson had messed up incredibly and that was why he was moved from Executive Officer to Second Officer. And to be bumped back to OPS over CONN. Michaella chuckled weakly to herself. She wondered what he had done, and decided that she really didn't care. No, she thought, walking along, she did care. She was just trying to convince herself that she didn't. ~Maybe the Counsellor will have a clue.~ She thought to herself, correcting her route and heading over to his office. Standing outside his door, a few minutes later she took a deep breath and rang the chime. When she heard the enter command, she stepped in and stood briefly, shifting from foot to foot. He didn't look like a Betazoid, at all. Shouldn't it be a requirement for a Counsellor to be a Betazoid ? "I don't think that we have been formally introduced, Counsellor. My name is Michaella Kirien, and I have been assigned as the ACMO. Let us just say that there is a mess about to be dropped into your lap, and I really need someone to talk to." Dr Kirien took a deep breath and, from what Harrison could tell, tears appeared to be forming beneath her eyes. "If you are available ?" she asked. "Free as a bird," he said, rising. He led her to the comfortable sofas beneath the window in his office. He knew that people felt isolated if there was a desk between them and the counsellor. He motioned for her to sit, and once she had done so, sat down next to her. "What can I do for you?" "In my experience," Saleke replied, "it is easier for one to be an optimist when the future is still uncertain, when the actual odds against the individual are well known they tend to change one's outlook or so I've heard." They finished their meal, and Saleke checked his chronometer. He stood. "Mr. Harrison I do apologize for cutting our conversation short however I have work to do on the sensors this evening as per the Captain's orders. I have found our conversation quite stimulating and look forward to speaking with you again as well as serving aboard Nimitz with you." The Vulcan rose to his feet and bowed respectfully to the human. "It's a pleasure to meet you properly, Saleke. I look forward to serving with you as well. We'll have to do this again sometime." The Vulcan nodded and made his way to the door. Harrison made his way to the other door and headed for the turbolift. He felt uplifted, and he felt that he'd made a friend this evening. We need at least two teams, one for the bridge and one for engineering. If we get lucky maybe an extra one, but, we don't want to deplete the nimitz just in case they need the manpower also. You will be my second in command while we are on the ship. We need to get the trawler into the river as fast as possible once we take over. Only one problem, the trawler is slow, not very high warp." She explained to him. "If there is anything you want to input to the meeting lets get what the departments have to say also. Once we do, you and I can put together the final plan of Attack. Your feelings Lt." Saleke nodded at her instructions as he considered the information on the expected route to be taken by the trawler and escort that he had gone over this morning. "Very well Commander I will do as you say and wait for the points of view of the other departments. She was sure that the feelings that everyone had toward the Commander was not good. She would have to change that and then maybe the rest of the crew would follow suit in giving the commander another chance. Before taking his seat, Kestra watched as he pause to look at her as if he wanted to say something. She decided that she would not scan his mind to see if she was correct as she had no reason. "Commander, Lieutenant esteemed officers," John stated taking a seat. "Commander, I don't remember sending you an invitation for this meeting. I was under the understanding that you would be staying with the Captain. Has anything changed that I am unaware of?" Kestra asked the commander wanting to know why he was in attendance. "Well Commander I'm covering operations and I do believe you will be requiring SFI input as well and since I know the CO of the ship we are about to attack I might prove of use," John then leant back in his seat as he did he thought he might as well throw it in. "Ma'am," John answered her. Kestra thought the last portion was entered as a dig at her, as she got the impression that he did not take her as his superior. She decided to ignore that dig and reply to what he first said as he was correct. If he had information as SFI and had personal knowledge of the Alamo Captain, it would come in handy. "Ok, Commander, you are correct in that aspect, you are welcome to give us your information and insights when the meeting gets started. I will be starting soon." (reply from all that are suppose to be at meeting) (Pb Frank) Stardate:2406.10.03 (USS Nimitz - Observation Lounge - FO Commander Kestra Troi - 0802) Kestra watched as Onyx entered and knew that she was not in a good mood. She had no need to scan her to figure out what it was that made the Lt. upset as she was a walking billboard. Kestra just shook her head as she was hoping that the thoughts of suicide had been taken care of in the meeting the day before. Kestra watched Onyx go to her seat without looking at her or anyone else in the room. It was not well that the personnel that had come was basically against the mission. The mission had been handed down to Devan from LoDona and she would rather be caught dead than to tell the Admiral that the senior officers said that his orders were suicide. The Nimitz had pulled her out of many missions in one peace and she would be Damned if she would not this time. Kestra knew that most of the crew just had not been through a hard battle yet and did not know what would happen. They would get a lesson on how well the Sovereign class starship could take care of herself if the crew believed in her. Kestra then thought back on the Boudicca that she had just came from and the battle they had with the psi-ders. They had taken a lot of damage and lost a lot of crew members but they had come home. She knew that the Boudicca had to have several months of repairs and she had been there for most of them. That ship had been built as a battle ship and the Nimitz had not been to that much. What got her was that none of the crew called what happened a suicide and when they had to retreat for repairs, it was with regret as not to be able to finish the battle. They were willing to give their lives to hopefully beat the species that had sent the psi-ders. It had just been too obvious that they would not prevail if they stayed because of the sustain damage already taken. It had been disheartening to hear the negative talk in the previous meeting with the captain. If she could, she would have headed back to LoDona and replaced most of the crew with ones that would stand with the ship. But, the mission they were handed was just too important to turn back now. Sighing, she hoped this mission will season the newest members, if they all survive. He gave a brief nod to everyone in the room, then took a seat at the opposite end so he could over-look everyone at once. He liked to see the faces of the people that were talking, the people that he might argue down later. He tapped his hooves/hands together as he sat down, his face the ultimate blank page. His mood was defiantly not the best out of all the crap he had heard earlier, the only thing that kept him from saying just what he thought, was that he needed to study a bit more about individual people first. Should the necessity arise he would also be expected to back the FO on her insights and plans, adding his own information at a later time and helping her to decide on their plan of attack. As all this flashed through his mind the Lt. Commander spoke. “Commander, Lieutenant esteemed officers,” The man said as he took a seat. "Commander, I don't remember sending you an invitation for this meeting. I was under the understanding that you would be staying with the Captain. Has anything changed that I am unaware of?" The FO replied. The man looked smug as he answered her. “Well Commander I'm covering operations and I do believe you will be requiring SFI input as well and since I know the CO of the ship we are about to attack I might prove of use,” He then leaned back in his seat and seemingly as an afterthought said, “Ma’am,” Saleke's right eyebrow quirked in surprise as he considered the Lt. Commander's tone and presentation, it seemed almost as though John Wilson was purposely trying to provoke Kestra Troi. The Vulcan considered that the man was showing a remarkable lack of respect. The FO remained cool however. "Ok, Commander, you are correct in that aspect, you are welcome to give us your information and insights when the meeting gets started. I will be starting soon." As she finished however he could see some small signs of frustration show as she looked about the room. Onyx Kateb was the next to enter and she was looking extremely worried, it was a long time before she looked up from the PADD she carried and gazed about the room, the Vulcan wondered what it was about this mission that she found so dismaying; after looking over the specifications for the ships they would be engaging and considering all the variables including the newly aligned sensors he found that their chances were very good. ~ Perhaps she doesn't have all the updated information. ~ He thought. The Doctor was the next to arrive and his demeanor was very studied and focused, more so than Saleke had ever seen him, the Vulcan considered this a good sign; it appeared the CMO was bent on doing his part to help them finish this task. Saleke watched as BigWill walked to the FO and handed her a PADD then waited for her acknowledgement, Saleke nodded politely at the Doctor when he looked in his direction. Shondar Dorkin was a bit late but his arrival was in a typical Tellarite style, if Saleke had ever seen one in a mood for a battle before this one was ready, he definitely appeared ready to "take off the gauntlets" in an old Earth term and Saleke took this as a sign of support for the FO. After sitting down he grated. "Whenever you're ready, Time is wasting." His words provoked a reaction from Onyx who pushed the PADD she was carrying toward Kestra. "We are about to start Major." Kestra replied to him. Onyx spoke to her. “I think you will find this interesting. It's the research I done last night.” After reading it Kestra shook her head then tapped her combadge. "Commander Troi to Lt. Zzt or Ensign O'Neill, One of you will report to the observation lounge five minutes ago. Troi out." Minuts later the young man entered the lounge and said, "Hello everyone." as he took a seat. Saleke wondered what had happened to delay the huge Gerratlian. "Good day Mr. O'Neil." Saleke replied then waited for the meeting to begin. (Reply: Any) (Posted by Charles) Stardate:2406.10.03 (USS Nimitz - Observation Lounge - TAC/SC Ensign Kateb - 0805) Onyx look at her padd one more time, this was the best she could do to kick this bad feeling go away. There was an intelligence report and where would be the best strategical place to strick. There was an asteroid field near and the cargo ship would pass by it. There was also a tone of simulations and the best five with the less casualties at the top and they weren't to her satisfaction, 2 to 5% casualties. It wasn't easy, she needed to proceed at the right dosage of elements and use some klingon tactics. When she heard Dorkin come in and is little remark she gave him a sharp look. ~There's more to me then that! Even if I don't feel the mission, I'm whilling to work so that I do.~ Onyx decided to give this padd to the first officer and slide the padd toward Kestra and said. "I think you will find this interesting. It's the research I done last night." (Reply from Troi, and anyone) (Posted by Laurence) Stardate:2406.10.03 (USS Nimitz - Observation Lounge - FO Commander Kestra Troi - 0806) Kestra watched the Doctor arrive and take a seat next to her on the opposite side of Lt. Saleke. She was wondering why he had sat so close to her when he presented his PADD to her with his recommendations on who should be on the away team from the medical department. She read through it and there was only one name on it, his. He had also put in recommendations for the procedures the team should take if exposed to anti-matter radiation while on board the trawler. After she read the recommendation she was going to say something to him as she looked up at him when the Marine contingent arrived. She saw that as usual Major Dorkin's attitude was defiant as was most marines. He had part of his BDU armor on and he was armed as if he was ready to fight there. He did however give a brief nod to everyone in the room, then took a seat at the opposite end so he could over-look everyone at once. He tapped his hooves/hands together as he sat down, his face the ultimate blank page. "Whenever you're ready," he grumbled in a foul mood. "Time is wasting." "We are about to start Major." She replied to him. Kestra just looked at him for a few moments when Onyx slide a padd to her and said. "I think you will find this interesting. It's the research I done last night." She then took her eyes off the Major and read what was on the PADD. She shook her head, but decided to wait for the meeting to begin before commenting on it. She could see that the only department that had not reported in as of that time was Engineering and they needed them to be present. "Commander Troi to Lt. Zzt or Ensign O'Neill, One of you will report to the observation lounge five minutes ago. Troi out." She called to them after she tapped her commbadge. Miles said into his commbadge. ~I hope I'm not late.~ Miles said as he looked at a old 21th century watch on his wrist. He then left the room and made his way to the Observation Lounge. Stardate:2406.10.03 (USS Nimitz - Observation Lounge - Ensign (jg) Miles O'Neill - 0810) Miles entered the lounge already to see many department heads already there, looking at him. "Hello everyone." Miles said as he took a seat. He looked at his watch again and, seeing he was on time, felt relieved. (Reply any) (Posted by Matt Kirk)
